Qi Gong is a more than 5000 years old Chinese discipline that has both martial and health applications.
Qi Gong comes down to learning about their own energy and that energy that we can draw from our surroundings.


Guo Lin
Guo Lin was born in 1909 and was close to Zhongshan as a child from her grandfather on father's side taught Qi Gong.
Later, as a student in landscape painting she visited several holy mountains.
The breathing techniques she used on the climbs later formed the basis of its Qi Qong method.
Breathing wind
The exercise 'wind breathing", Xixihu in Chinese Qi Gong is from the new therapy of the Chinese Guo Lin.
A major force in the new qi gong therapy in the treatment of for example cancer, is that they usually are done in groups.
This has a strong stimulating effect on the participants.
Scientific experiments on Qi Gong
At the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine did a Qi gong master Lin Housheng. He was very skilled in the sending of external qi from his hands (lao gong point) and already had several difficult cases cured. Yet his work was seen as witchcraft or autosuggestief. Therefore he sought a way to prove that qi worked through scientific tests.
Why Qi Gong can cure...
In 1947 there was a young man named Liu Guizhen, who suffered from an ulcer, together with pulmonary tuberculosis, neurasthenia and Fleuris. He was only a shadow of himself with difficulty and weighed 36 kg. He was so weak he could barely talk. Because during the war years, there were no medicines available, so he asked to be returned to his birthplace in order to die there without disturbing others have.
There he met an old man, Liu Duzhou who voluntarily offer to take care of him. The old man was 29 when he was very seriously ill but had then also a man who offered him a treatment which he had taught healed. Therefore he considered that now other people.
